STAFF


May Vaughn

Executive Director

May Vaughn grew up in Roxbury, Massachusetts, where she has spent her professional and personal career serving in roles that support children and families of Greater Boston. May has a breadth and depth of experience with community engagement, fundraising, program development, and childcare center executive management. She is a community relation professional with experience in all phases of partnerships in the non-profit sector. She has a zeal for creating partnerships while helping families prosper through collaboration that works for all.

As a daughter of immigrants, she is aware of exactly how non-profit organizations like Sitters For Scholars can positively influence the lives of families for generations. May is excited to continue her passion for helping families as Executive Director.

May received her education at Cambridge College with a Master’s in Non -Profit Management and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Program and Outreach Manager

Over the past 20 years, Judy has worked in public health and education providing education, outreach, and advocacy for children and families.
